Qualifications and Experience:
To qualify for these positions:
- Senior Resident candidates must have a valid PG Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty from a recognized university, along with a valid practice registration. Candidates who have already served as SR for three years in any government institution are not eligible to apply.
- Senior Resident against GDMO applicants should possess a postgraduate degree or diploma/DNB in the relevant specialty from a recognized university, and a current practice registration.
Scale of Pay:
Selected candidates will receive competitive remuneration:
- For Senior Resident: Basic pay ranging from Rs. 67,700 (Level 11) with NPA (pre-revised) and additional allowances as per rules.
- For Senior Resident against GDMO: A Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 1,33,640 per month, with additional allowances for postgraduate degree and diploma holders.
Tenure:
- Senior Resident: Appointed for a 3-year term, renewable/extendable annually.
- Senior Resident against GDMO: Appointed for a 1-year term.
Selection Procedure:
Selection for ESIC Recruitment 2023 will involve an interview screening and a written test. These assessments aim to evaluate candidates’ aptitude, eligibility, and merit. The interview date is subject to change or cancellation at the discretion of the Dean/Medical Superintendent. Please note that no TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
