Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years as of 13th September 2023
- Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC, ST, Women & SEBC, Plus 10 years for PwD.
Salary Structure:
- First Three Years as Junior Teacher (Schematic): ₹ 11,000/- per month (excluding EPF of employer share).
- Next 03 Years as Junior Teacher: ₹ 13,800/- per month (excluding EPF of employer share).
- After 06 years of continuous and satisfactory service, candidates will be appointed as Regular Elementary Teachers with a monthly salary of ₹ 23,600/- along with D.A., HRA, and other allowances.
Educational Qualifications:
For Classes I to V (Junior Teacher):
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (OR)
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (OR)
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR)
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- The candidates must have passed the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test-I (OTET-I).
- Proficiency in the Odia language up to the 10th class or passing an equivalent Odia language test declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
For Classes VI to VIII (Junior Teacher):
- Graduation and 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education (OR)
- At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (OR)
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR)
- Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 04 years B. A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. (OR)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01 year B.Ed (Special Education) (OR)
- Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed – M.Ed.
- Candidates must have passed the Odisha Eligibility Test-II (OTET-II).
- Proficiency in the Odia language up to class-X or passing an equivalent Odia language test declared by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
