Selection Process:
Candidates will go through a selection process that includes a scheduled examination. Qualified candidates will participate in a two-hour objective type multiple-choice written examination, assessing both aptitude and subject knowledge. A merit list will be generated based on performance in the written test to determine candidates eligible for the subsequent skill test.
Health Requirements:
Candidates must meet medical fitness standards as determined by the NTPC Medical Board. Before joining, applicants will undergo a medical examination, and the decision of the board will be final and binding.
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 21,500 during the training period. After successfully completing the training program, they will be employed in a regular position under the open pay scale of W3 grade, with a starting basic salary of Rs. 21,500.

Tenure:
Selected candidates will undergo a two-year training period before joining in their regular positions.
